I must be on a Joshua Harris kick. I read another book of his. The whole ttile of this book is: Why Church Matters: Discovering Your Place in the Family of God. or it was published under this title: Stop Dating the Church!: Fall in Love with the Family of God.
Joshua is saying things that I want to say to you. Commit to a church. Don’t just be an attender. Get involve.
The biggest reason that I would like you to do this is because you need a community to help you grow. It harder for you to grow without Christian friends and support. And of course without good sound Biblical teaching.
So this is another recommend read. And if you are not a reader, I highly suggest you become one. Beside the Bible there are very good mentors (writers) out there to help you grow. But there are also real life people who you know are mature that can help you be accountable and grow also.
So just short and sweet. Go to church. Find a good community of believers that you can grow together. God matters and so does church.
